Seasonal windows (editorial tips only—not a fake sale calendar)

Pacific side: dry season is generally December–March (April transition); rainy/green season roughly May–October (November transition), with veranillo (little summer) often noted in July–August and heaviest rains often around September–October (Visit Costa Rica / ICT climate framing—see sources.md).

Caribbean side: rain patterns differ—relatively drier pockets often around February–March and September–October; heavier periods can include November–January. Plan with regional forecasts, not a one-size “sale season.”
